What players think
The recurring themes across 41 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The Padre can best be described as Alone In The Dark 1 meets Van Helsing (the book, not the movie/game) with MineCraft (aka voxel) graphics.
For a game with voxel graphics everything feels surprisingly cinematic and well done, from the slick movie-like editing to the awesomely gruff voice acting of The Padre himself.
Rather than offering unlimited retries without consequence, repeated failures impact progression through an in-game resource system.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
