I don't want to give anything away, but I'll just say that this game plays with your expectations and takes some great story and gameplay turns along the way.
The art is very refined in the game and the bold nature of the design has significant impacts on the theme and story.
The art direction is great, the sound design is right on and really creepy, the music changes perfectly from scary to action-driven, and the animation is smooth with tons of character (one lumbering monster was especially well-done).
Sunshine Manor sheds the RPG Maker appearance of the first game and ramps up the cartoonishness in both graphics and tone.
