Part of the larger Rusty Lake universe, Paradise builds on the bizarre mythology and unsettling tone established in earlier titles like Rusty Lake Hotel and the Cube Escape series, while carving out its own unique identity through a focused narrative structure, distinct visual style, and thematic ambition rooted in biblical allegory.
You have created a morbidly fascinating (and FANTASTIC) gruesome, horror game using basic and simple storybook style graphics and I am ALL FOR IT.
The gameplay revolves around classic point-and-click mechanics: examining the environment, picking up objects, solving logic puzzles, and combining items in often unexpected ways.
On the store page it says that the game has a unique soundtrack for each of the plagues of the game and while throughout the entire series the music was a very minor part of design, where it wasn't bad, just nothing special, here it felt like it really played into the plague motif and the music is definitely a really great part of the experience.
