You'd think this will make for a fun replayability, but it doesn't.
Graphics are already dated - kinda cute and ugly at the same time, music is average at best (I play some medieval tunes from outside the game with music muted).
You're basically getting a modernization of the original Knights of Honor, from way back in 2006, with some user interface improvements, some obvious graphical improvements, and even some of the wonkiness of the era, too.
Character portraits and animations give each leader a distinct personality, and the soundtrack — full of medieval instruments and sweeping orchestral themes — adds a strong sense of atmosphere.
