What players think

The Crooked Man is a very good and classic RPG Maker horror game and a good start to the Strange Man series, okay the story.
The gameplay is good and simple like a lot of RPG Maker horror games you have to get items, solve puzzles and explore, but there is also boss battles, basically at the end of a level you have to fight the Crooked Man and it wasn't that bad except maybe the third boss fight.
The pixel graphics are really good with some nice detail especially when it comes to the cutscenes.
The music and sound effects for the game are quite good; the game also has some light voice acting which wasn't bad.The game also has plenty of notes to read and as you know I always enjoy that kind of thing in games because it can help with the world.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
