The voice acting is phenomenal, so even though you can't see every little thing that unfolds, the emotion that gets across will easily knock the air out of your lungs and make you feel things you weren't aware you could.

Souma is a kouhai but his story is very good, particularly towards the ending in Blossoms - and he's an important character to add to the story, he's Shinsengumi's last stand and really adds an important, final bit to Shinsengumi's story - that's a great thing. .
