The characters were stereotypically polygonal like the early 2000's 3D games we use to play, and the characters actions and thought processes to situations are very reminiscent of how those games use to be as well.

The gameplay in Mercury Blue: Mini Episode is pretty simplistic, point and click fare, albeit with the inclusion of some minor shooter sections, which did a great job of subtly breaking up the pace and keeping you involved the whole time.
