That being said, it's not necessarily a bad game, I know I know unpopular opinion, but hear me out: it just becomes bad when you compare it to an actual Half-Life title (and well, if you played it without the later patches you were also in for a bad time), HDTF is actually an okay shooter imo, I'm still not a big fan of its story and cutscenes, but the gameplay can be entertaining.

Really solid selection of weapons, great ads and hipfiring, gunshots sound REALLY good, and the cover shooting was tight!
