What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
However, the straightforward premise is wrapped in a constantly shifting barrage of psychedelic visuals and jarring soundscapes that make the journey feel more like stepping into a fever dream than playing a typical puzzle game.
These confrontations can be frustrating, but they also punctuate the progression with high-stakes variety that makes survival feel rewarding.
The levels themselves are absolutely amazing, each one of them is a separate work of Vaporwave art, accompanied by equally sweet soundtrack (composed out of truly bizarre samples, just like Vaporwave should be).
That said, the game does include progression systems where rescuing characters can provide minor assistance in later stages, and the run-based structure means repeated attempts often bring small improvements.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
