I'm a sucker for a good interesting story and this game got it.
From gameplay to cutscenes, it's got a lot of mechanics other games don't have.
All characters are also given their own rolls in combat that ends up making a really balanced team.
The world map, towns, and even dungeons are enjoyable to traverse through because of the soundtrack.
Overall, nothing particularly standout in terms of combat here, but there are some very well designed bosses and a pretty tough difficulty curve on Hard if you escape or avoid majority of the random encounters - some of the endgame sidequests had bosses that were legitimately impossible for me when I first got to them, regardless of strategy.
It ́s not only the graphics but the story, characters and gameplay gives me flashbacks of playing Squares Snes rpg`s back when I was a teenager.
