The story is original and the characters are by turns endearing, odd and a bit creepy -- personal favourites include Terry, the neurotic robot who refuses to leave his shrubbery until he's reassured he's ‘normal’, and the alien slug people fighting against discrimination, despite their habit of randomly cloning their neighbours.
