Story and characters
Players who bring up Story and characters mostly praise it.
It is a hardcore, permadeath, roleplay heavy server, and I find it strikes a perfect balance of well tuned gameplay, a huge open world, roleplay with a welcoming community, incredibly impressive custom content, DM interaction through events and story hooks, and a robust in-depth crafting system to make my ultimate DnD experience.

A multiplayer game that works both internet and lan, with options of editing the gameplay with GM settings to make it easier or harder.

Need to be sued. learn2code Good advice is to get a gysnc for monitor for this - lol -20+ year old game as it will solve most of the fps drops cuz again "coding is hard" and vysnc is a Plane of Hell and not a common graphics option in a game.

Servers and matchmaking
Players who bring up Servers and matchmaking mostly praise it.
There are flavours of NWN for all kinds of players, the single player campaigns are fine, the expansions are actually quite good and worth some hours of fun, but they are greatly outshined by the dedicated multiplayer servers or “persistent worlds” which I have lost myself in for over 10,000 hours.

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
By default, the music drowns the voices out, but most of the voice acting is pretty terrible and low-effort stuff anyway, so perhaps that was a conscious choice. again, the previous games had much better voice acting (this is a theme that keeps coming up....), good sound mixing, etc.
