really well made fun game, BUT it runs like garbage. my pc i not crazy but its no weakling either. refuses to use more than 50% of my gpu or cpu. for some reason but drops frames frequently no matter what settings i use. i love this type of game, i loved planet coaster. that runs well on my pc. i play mostly sims and tycoon type games and this just runs the worst. literally drops to 2 fps on an RTX 3080 and 5900x CPU when i try to edit terrain. 10 fps in habitat editor. 50-70fps in game until the guests passes 1000 then fps drops off a cliff even in regualar gameplay. thats wild since i can get over 10k guests in planet coaster with no issues. i dont get what the issue is but its making the game unplayable for me.
this game has always seemed so cool to me, but i cant do anything without extreme lag or crashing to the point it ruins my experience. i could lower the graphics, but the amazing graphics is part of the fun!!!
