Army Men RTS

While the story is delivered with a light, almost tongue-in-cheek tone befitting plastic combatants, it still provides a clear progression and sense of purpose.

At its core, Army Men RTS adheres to traditional RTS fundamentals, but it introduces thematic twists that make its mechanics feel distinctive.

The voice acting was wonderful, and the gameplay from the designers just made it a lot of fun - we often played it once we had running multiplayer - Matt hated how I would do grunt rushes to break their balancing :)

Although the mission design reflects early-2000s RTS conventions and occasionally leans toward straightforward objectives, the changing environments and escalating difficulty keep the campaign engaging from start to finish.

Explosions, melted plastic effects, and debris add personality to combat encounters, even if the technical fidelity is modest.
