Leane of the Evil Blade, eraTohoK, even Sengoku NEET which is supposed to be just a Rance parody (and, mind you, is a worse game than Eiyu Senki overall) keeps you more entertained between combat encounters.

Eiyuu Senki is a game for those who will take absolutely everything as long as it is from Japan, is an eroge or in general just has a decent character design for its heroines.

To be honest, at first the art did't convice me at all but with the progression of the game you appreciate more and more, the battle system is very simple but funny, and the campaign is very likeable. not so deep, not so simple. the voice acting to me is the strong poin of this game, many actors, many styles.
