I still recommend it if you're looking for similar gameplay in a different setting, it has great graphics and music, weather effects, zoom in/out, various settings (volume sliders, autosave interval, etc.), a map editor, multiplayer, creative mode, and so on. world generation is seed-based, so worlds can be easily recreated.
