There are lots of interesting and different builds you can try with all of your characters, and different save slots allow you to play through different variants of your characters, giving you a plethora of options in regards to how you can play.
Seldom since "The Way" have I seen an RPG with such breadth, depth and quality of writing and world-building - and unlike "The Way", which very clearly sacrificed gameplay for story, this one is an absolute joy to play even if a complex and enigmatic plot is not your cup of tea.

The music is fitting to every place you visit, visuals are simply neat as a large part of those are Rpg Maker assets, but with filters applied in a manner to give a surreal, dreamwordly feel that ends up to be quite cohesive in its entirety, at times, quite Yume-Nikki like.
