Lighting is another nitpick i had, albeit the game's atmosphere is perfect it just kind of feels bizarre having to navigate through levels that are much to dark to see without a light, yet turning said light on means the enemies will sure as hell see you as they patrol through the very limited pathways you can take to traverse around.
