What players think
The recurring themes across 256 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Despite the much shorter play time, with only 8 levels, one (storyless) route, and no quest item / folio / measurements / costume / best story answer hunting to make you replay and really comb through the levels, the fact that this is just straight up gameplay means that the time you spend in it is all about cheesy fanservice fun.
Yes it was trivial to fix (just disable right grip in the controller settings of SteamVR), but holy moly, I have not been this confused over such a simple to get right game mechanic (there are TONS of unused buttons and they use RIGHT GRIP???)
Visually, GalGun VR* uses a bright, anime-inspired art style consistent with the original series.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
