All 3 characters have remarkable depth.
🌟 There's a few different modes to tweak the gameplay, as well as various paths and stages to play through.
FNR went for an art style that replicates the look beat-em-ups had when they were popular arcade games, though I changed the default settings so it looked more smooth.
Challenging enemies, engaging encounters, distinguishable balancing across different difficulties, fun combo system, great/rewarding scoring system, multiple pathways that lead to different endings, absolute banger soundtrack, this game really has everything I could want in a beat 'em up.
Back before the days of online gaming... you had to invite a friend over [Couch co-op] to help you trash the likes of punks staking the mean streets in this game and I like it like that.
There's multiplayer and lots of costumes and unlocks as well.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
