The only time I had to look up a guide in this game was for a couple of the mail task, which those are purposely designed to give a little challenge since they aren't necessary to beat the game or get the best ending, the fact this game was able to guide me to where I'm supposed to go and tell me what I'm supposed to do with out actually putting it in your face is insane, every feature, every gameplay aspect, every gimmick designed perfectly to intertwine and make something truly beautiful, I HEAVILY suggest buying this game and at least beating it, hell go out of your way to catch all the bugs, and PLEASE do all the sidequest, I promise you will have a blast and enjoy this game as much as I did, this is truly a game for everyone.
the gameplay itself is so much fun. creature collecting done right- in a way that doesn't feel unfair, or tedious. you gather the tools throughout the game needed for success and the rest is up to you. each area presents its own challenges, which are never hard enough to ragequit, but enough to make you step back and think about what you can use in your enviroment to help you.
also- the VOICE ACTING in this game is incredible- which would be easy to guess based on the absolutely STAR STUDDED cast voicing my favorite grumpses. i mean, SAM RIEGEL, max mittelman, cassandra lee morris, etc??
if you havent already, please buy this game. it is an underrated cozy game with deceptive graphics for the story underneath, a fun timesink and geniunely just THAT good. it goes on sale so often, but it is absolutely worth the base price and more.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
