Gameplay loop further reinforces this as you are constantly dragging out new upgrades from missions, some being written even in a way where you purposefully going to find old expedition remains and see what tech you can recover as old one is better than what they can produce today.

The graphics are for the most part also great, there are some issues with some character's long weapons clipping through walls at times but designwise the game's art is excellent.

The graphics also feel quite nice, while anything but modern, it stillf eels rather unique and immersive, especially the UI.. tho the portraits of all the characters feel rather ugly or at least weird.

Upgrading your cohort of tech-priests (your playable characters) is very satisfying; not only in seeing how they get stronger after each mission, but also how they work off of each other while in mission.
