What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story follows the faction of Adeptus Mechanicus, the tech priests of Mars, who are responsible for studying and manufacturing technology for the Imperium of Mankind.
Soundtrack just happened to be inspired and great.
Gameplay loop further reinforces this as you are constantly dragging out new upgrades from missions, some being written even in a way where you purposefully going to find old expedition remains and see what tech you can recover as old one is better than what they can produce today.
The graphics are great with each unit having beatiful animations.
And the advancement / gearing system for the tech priests is wildly unbalanced, with an extremely clear and strong "optimized" build despite the plethora of options available.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
