Classic class system, highly destructible environment a body armor system, decent leveling and attachment systems that were both re-balanced, competent vehicle combat, the squad system, the ability to build barricades, proximity chat, a nice collection of skins (all free), decent map variety (which were also rebalanced a bit over time), and a healthy selection of guns which got expanded over time.
