Bonnie is also a much more interesting main character than I expected from such a short game, especially because the story is not afraid to make her deal with the consequences of violence rather than presenting every gunfight as something heroic.

The writing was fun and engaging, and there was a good amount of replayability to find all the little things you might miss the first time through.

Its almost square aspect ratio, use of colours, the beautifully made pixel graphics and the dirty sounds all contribute to a fit and proper retro vibe.

I like Bonnie as a protagonist, the quickdraw fights are simple but fun, and the pixel art and soundtrack give the game a lot of atmosphere for such a small project.
