What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Sorry guys, but when you have TowerFall and Duck Game in your library, the bar for a fun local multiplayer game is set much higher than this. 4 of us played it for 0.2 hours, and the sole newbie amongst us was the first to say - it felt like 2 separate games; the drones just collect and cannot attack, while the 2 queens have all the fun actually killing each other, and the helpless drones.
The gameplay itself is remarkably easy to understand while offering surprising strategic depth.
- Online/Local co-op means that you can play when you want, or at a party with beers like it was meant to be played.
The energetic soundtrack and satisfying sound effects reinforce the intensity of every battle without overwhelming the action.
Controller and online play worked fine for us.
Presentation complements the gameplay with colorful pixel-inspired visuals that are both charming and functional.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
