What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The game, which most of it's uniqueness stems from the fact that it is a horror game that is also approaching horror-survival territory, has a very satisfying skill curve and extremely atmospheric and immersive gameplay that will have you aiming with the sights of your musket to closely observe little dots in the distance to discern if they're tree stumps, rocks, or undead enemies blending with the dreary background.
It has nice graphics but the level of detail on the trees (and perhaps the thing that most impacts performance) is just amazing.
The sound design is one of the game’s most important strengths.
All the bosses were engaging in different ways all with amazing designs, I constantly found myself finding new parts of the map absolutely cluttered with easter eggs and subtle details right up to the end, Andrii delivers yet again with the superb and immersive atmosphere that really ties the game and worldbuilding together
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
