I like the way the difficulty gradually comes from having more things happening at once rather than throwing complicated mechanics at me.

cool little game with an interesting soundtrack by jacob greenmount (they made a song called australind and it's one of my favorite songs ever lol). kinda confusing the first time playing but pretty fun after that

As well, I tried the controller as well, and though the movement is excellent with fluent rotation, you constantly shoot in only one direction, diagonally up and left.
