If your'e trying to both enjoy the gameplay AND unlock characters, you're out of luck.
The graphics, despite being intentionally pixelated, are quite gorgeous in the level of detail and the multiple layers of it that several battlefields display at the same time.
The rest of the SFX are well enough, though sometimes felt too familiar as if being sampled from every games made before PS2.
Overall the game looks, sounds and plays beautifully, runs perfectly on Steam Deck and is a great purchase for any tactics lover.
