The beauty of exploring such a vast creative landscape in WA is traded in for better co-op shipbuilding, better multi-crew gameplay, a tighter PVP focus, much more PVE content, highly expanded weapon variety, the option of offline SP, and really so much else.

The process of building your first vehicle and upgrading it over time as your stockpile grows is not something I've seen done this successfully in any other game, and the skill ceiling for building is even higher than the skill ceiling for piloting.
