What players think
The recurring themes across 137 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
On the positive end of things, combat is better balanced, the 6-person party size allows for far more interesting dynamics, experience sharing and other systems makes it much easier to unlock and gain experience in any class, you're not locked into using your starting characters, all the new classes are great, inventory management is far less cumbersome, and the town hub streamlines shopping and crafting.
Game has definite replayability though, and I'm enjoying the hardest difficulty, hardest AI for a second playthrough.
Check it out if you're looking for a nice retro-graphics SRPG to add to your collection (or if you're looking to play around with Voidspire's gameplay system more).
Soundtrack is nice, but inconsistent thematically.
