What players think
The recurring themes across 89 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Anyone who's played them knows the drill; it plays sort of like a mix of Metroid, Megaman X and Castlevania, and while the core gameplay is the same each game, the graphics and mechanics also get better each game.
Some people might complain that the difficulty is still mostly pretty easy, but when it's this fun is that even a bad thing?
Great soundtrack as usual (though again the game just keeps playing tracks at random and that only changes during boss fights).
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
