What players think

The game worked perfectly fine until after I completed the story, around 11 hours in.
However, outside of story mode and the Dojos (challenge rooms), there is very little combat when exploring the semi-linear levels during freeroam mode, which means the gameplay loop post-story is picking a character with the speed ability (to run faster) and roaming around to complete amusing and sometimes challenging, if repetitive side quests.
The graphics are good, but the bounce from the movie cutscenes to the world you interact with is quite different and feels like two different games or stories or just two distinct worlds rather than one immersive world that you engage with.
This is a light and fun game that’s perfect for both kids and adults looking for a relaxed, enjoyable co-op experience in the LEGO style.
Was easy to 100% as the PVP game mode lets you do it in single player so you don't get screwed out of achievements. 9/10, would be a 10/10 if bugs were fixed.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
