Engaging Gameplay and Customization
Original Journey from Bonfire Entertainment is an unexpected gem that successfully blends classic 2D shoot 'em up action with roguelike elements and a surprisingly deep narrative, all wrapped in a breathtakingly unique art style.
I found the graphics very refreshing actually and consider it to be an excellent example of what an ambitious creative team can accomplish.
There's plenty of content to enjoy, and the controller mechanics were spot on.
The music and sound effects are also good - but the game does not seem to have an option to mute music or audio which I feel is lacking.
