The overall storyline isn't quite Shakespeare but the twists are fun and the characters are for the most part well-formed for the roles they need to play.

Unlike other Puzzle RPGs where skill trees feel linear and included "just because that makes it an RPG" TTE manages to provide a skill tree that won't overwhelm the RPG newbie but gives more than enough freedom for the seasoned RPG player to build the characters the way they want.
