What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The thing is, I used to love story driven adventure point and clicks, that is literally my generation right there.
Yes, the graphics are dated as expected, but the game itself is still such a little treat.
The English voice acting is much better than I expected for a game released back in 1999 and compared with many games I've played from 90s to early 2000s era.
Gameplay adheres to classic adventure design, built around exploration, dialogue, and inventory-based puzzles.
It's slow but well written, the many puzzles can feel challenging at times but after some thinking and walking back and forth, turns out they are never too hard or too easy, but just right.
I've played the game on Steam Deck using Proton 5 and only had a few issues with the trackpad sensitivity.
