Gorgeous pixel art, lovely soundtrack, loads of weapons and upgrades to find, and a relatively large map to explore -- what else do you need? :)

Wayforward are absolute masters of their craft and each of their games is immensely playable, with so much charm and character, and invariably a banging soundtrack to boot!

I heavily recommend using a gamepad for this one, if you don't it'll basically control like you're using an emulator: entirely keyboard/WASD based, you shoot in eight cardinal directions.
