A solid difficulty curve, simple but engaging combat (bump into mobs), an interesting crafting system, many professions and skills to learn & mix, a creature pen to grow and nurture the perfect companion etc.

TL; DR Summary: A well-developed game with a wonderful soundtrack, funny devs (Jim), beautiful art style reminding player of SNES days, large number of classes, and a difficulty fitting for this masterpiece with an option to play without permadeath worth the full price and then some.

There's a lot of character customization and playstyle options, and the roguelite elements make it easy to retain some progress after a failed run.

With new soundtracks on the way, new jobs in development, and story developement, I forsee great things for this game and would recommend this game to everyone.

I love the combat system, the loot, the monsters, the humour, and most of all the pets (the Salamander and Jade Lizard are my favourite).

After playing 10 hours, I like the writing, I find the graphics charming and adorable, I enjoy the characters I've met so far and the story I've seen.
