Unless you like running around and recycling random junk, you will notice the absence of audio logs, notes, and other environmental storytelling that makes most games (especially immersive sims) interesting and give the impression that they're lived-in (the CMC dialogue remediates this a little bit).
They have added a pile of new mechanics and upgraded the graphics greatly for this sequel and it looks very promising!
