So, the best way I can give a comparison for Rifter is that it's like a combination of N or N+ and Speedrunners with the addition of a story worth investing in.
Lots of replayability with different modes of play; you can go back to previous planets and collect lots of goodies.
-Solid soundtrack that works well w/ this fast paced futuristic speedrunner.
Music is good, graphics are clean, and when you get the hang of it, it just works.
I highly recommend a controller and the twin-stick control scheme for the independent aim it provides.
