If you aren't turned off by the issue list, then I would absolutely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys immersive open-world exploration and doing all the side quests.
-The presentation is stellar, while not boasting extreme graphics tech, the Unity Engine does a good job of rendering the world of Adelpha from the swaying trees to the low hanging fog in some areas.
-Although the sound is mostly re-used from the original, the voice acting and music steals the show with a great orchestral track making you feel like you're in an epic sci-fi adventure.
-As it's a graphical remake of the original Outcast(1999), the underlying gameplay has been tweaked while most of the quests are identical to the original.
played the original game back in the windows 98 era/ early xp era. nice to see the graphics are done better. alot of the old bugs have been fixed. the ocasional few remain but its no where as game breaking as the original. you have a jump buust which makes it better to jump. the gold weapons skin is a nice touch to the game. if you have some patience not alot but some. its important to get money within the game. don't be shy to explore as it will be helpful later on. the game has recsources to gather. those resources are crafted with npc's to make ammo. i have beaten the game when i went the helpful good person route. movement controls are not the best but this game was originally built in an older era of gaming so its not as polished as the modern games. it is a bit difficult to grab on ledges so it requires some practice to get an understanding. the learnign curve is quite safe. the in game keybinds need work as i had to google some of hte keys to figure out some of the missing aspects. other than that its a decent game still. a good solid 6.5/10 in todays gaming climate. i got this game on the black friday sale and its a good bargan for 13$ cad with the dlc for another 2$ cad.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
