What players think
The recurring themes across 153 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Though I wish there was a bit more fanfare than just looking up into the night sky and seeing "Good job now do hard mode".
Very simplistic graphics so it loads quickly and doesn't stutter, collision detection is good (damn you wire game!), and small enough room scale so that teleporting wasn't necessary in my play area.
no replayability (It is an escape the room game so that is a given but in the interests of fairness i will list it here, hey who knows someone may make a procedurally generated one some day lol)
Once the core mechanics are understood, the experience doesn’t evolve dramatically, and the absence of narrative depth means there is little to anchor the player beyond the immediate objective of escape.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
