What players think
The recurring themes across 107 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Story- 7/10 It's good but nothing ground breaking.
All while looking great thanks to the visuals powered by Deluxe Paint (which was a cutting-edge thing back in the 80s).
The voice acting is also pretty amusing, although some may find the high fantasy stuff pretty cringey and a weird contrast to this games dark atmosphere.
The dungeons themselves can get pretty monotonous which is why this game is probably best played in shorter doses if you get bored easily, they do vary through progression though.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
