What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
24 May update: After numerous changes made by the devs, and another 6 more hours of gameplay, I would have to say that the game is overall more balanced.
Races are different from each other only by visuals, one passive ability and couple of buildings.
You might even get some fun for few hours if you manage to get someone to play skirmish on hot seat or multiplayer.
Armed with just their skills and a small inventory of key items, they must complete a series of quests to progress from one act to the next.
Fairly short campaign, really serving as an introduction to Skirmish, which pits you against 1-7 computer opponents (unless you enjoy local co-op.)
Sound effects are mostly good, too, though some seem a bit wrong; the ranged attack miss sounds like a hit.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
