I played a lot of different party-based RPGs over the years, but I never played a game that had such a funny approach to its narrative, aesthetic and overall design.
Robox's combat is pretty good and in some ways, he feels like the actual protagonist in terms of both skillset and story, being technically a newbie or outsider to the long-running conflict.
+ competent JRPG gameplay / even some puzzles
Nice and unique art style.
For example, there is a hero HQ where you can play mini-games, do an interview, change the soundtrack and interact with characters (not exactly a generic game).
