Quake Champions

The reason I rate this is because the gameplay even in practice mode is some of the most visceral, brutal twitch-shooting eats I've tasted in a long time.

The recent update, with its rebalance to abilities and weapons, the map changes, and the netcode work, changed the game for me.

there is a reason people still play the original games because of the endless amount of community created content that people playing multiplayer can enjoy even to this day, yes old veterans still exist and people still host tournaments and LAN parties because the newest game Quake Champions didn't live up to it's expectations.

It runs well for starters, and it’s actually really cool to see the Ranger from classic Quake, playable here in modern graphics.

It’s brutal, fast, and completely unforgiving—but when everything clicks, you feel like a god made of caffeine and muscle memory.

While I still want to see dedicated servers which we'll never see, at least now you can make custom rooms for up to seven of your friends to play in.
