The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Each of these stages are crazy unique each telling their own story in very creative and unique ways.
Now let’s talk about progression and move sets, this is all well done.
It's a bit janky and combat is not much fun, but it serves as a vehicle for the funny and clever writing and the eye-popping visuals.
Some of these are almost movie quality with their animations and voice acting, that's how good they are, with a very well written story about learning from past mistakes and memorable characters that stick with you after the credits roll.
It's also a good experience on the Steam Deck, allowing similar performance on low or medium graphics settings.
There's a maximum of 8 abilities with you unlocking more as you go, and they're spaced out really well (the last ability is attained near the endgame), but it's a wheel because the game lets you map it to the 4 bumpers of your controller meaning L1, L2, R1 and R2 (if you're playing on a controller which I did and I recommend since this is a platformer).
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
