While it has similarities to AW, it's also very distinct in many ways, from the capture mechanics, to the way commanders and grooves work, to how critical hits impact tactics.

I just can't find many games with a battle system like this (Fire Emblem comes close but it's not close enough!!!) Beautiful art and animations, a lovely story too, and the intro cinematic is incredible.

Along with a great group of volunteer staff, we've run competitive events for over 3 years, and I think this PvP setting is where the game thrives.

All of that comes together with a beautiful pixel-art style that reminds me of old-school strategy games, and a very upbeat, catchy soundtrack that fits perfectly.

The co-op campaign is non-linear compared to the SP campaign and honestly a lot more fun despite having like a third of SP's total missions.

Naval combat is rebalanced with a multi-function alternate infantry and cheaper costs across the board, a real feather in the cap for WG.
