This concept of inhabiting warriors is the heart of the gameplay and adds an extra layer of strategy to what would otherwise be a traditional side-scrolling brawler.

For players who enjoy beat ’em ups and want something with a quirky twist, or for groups looking for a co-op game full of chaotic battles, it’s a worthwhile choice.

The art style is colorful and cartoonish, with plenty of personality in the character designs and environments.

Eventually I switched to Hardcore mode which is a Roguelite style of play, but the difficulty moves up much faster and you can progress the story faster.

The music and sound effects do their job without standing out too much, with combat hits feeling solid enough to give a sense of weight, even if the soundtrack itself doesn’t linger after you stop playing.
