What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The graphics are stunning, music is relaxing, plus who doesn't want to be a a magical plant creature flying in the wind?
The plot of Dawn was nice and simple, you are the last living piece of a grand old tree and you want to bring life to the rest of it.
The gameplay is simple and the graphics are good.
Music and sound design fit perfectly and create a very relaxing feeling.
As for the control scheme, playing on a gamepad(Xbox 360 Controller) handled well but there were some small issues. using two different buttons for the same jump and two different buttons for the same activate made it confusing at first as I was trying to find the difference between the two.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 5 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
