The backgrounds appear to be painted and the portraits of the characters look nice enough to get the job done properly and the writing keeps me feel like I'm involved with the VAs helping me to imagine being in the set scenario...even if the protagonist Austin is a bumbling buffoon with sex and weed on the mind with a self-entitled demeanor.
